Our initial goal with Happybottomus was to
create a natural parenting store where local families could
see and touch their favorite products in person before they
buy. We've since expanded our goals to include an
online shopping cart and are in the process of creating our
own line of products. The future for Happybottomus™ is both exciting and promising!
DOWNTOWN LEE'S SUMMIT OPEN!
The Downtown
Streetscape Project, approved by voters in April of 2002, is
the most significant development project in Downtown Lee's
Summit yet. Thanks to a plan originally outlined by
The Vision of the Heart, a group made up of dedicated
citizens and lots of help from the local community, Lee’s
Summit City Planners have designed a new and improved
downtown with a much needed state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Block by block, crews removed and replaced street
pavements and sidewalks, water mains, storm sewers, trees
and sidewalk electrical hook-ups. With ample FREE
parking, Downtown is filled with exciting events including
the Third Thursdays on Third and the Art Detour just to name
a few.
