About Us

Brookie-Lee is the mother of three that started Happybottomus after finding a need for a natural parenting storefront in her community.  When her first son started leaking out of his disposables at night, she started researching alternatives to conventional disposables.  This research snowballed into the wonderful world of natural parenting and the products associated with it.

Like many mother's shopping online for cloth diapers, Brookie-Lee researched other parent's opinions and read cloth diaper reviews.  She ordered one of several different types of diapers to try out before she invested in more.  Some she liked and others she didn't.  Testing these diapers, and many more, gave her experience with different systems and started forming her cloth diaper preferences.

These experiences have helped Brookie-Lee to educate other moms on the many different diapering systems that are available to them.  Helping them figure out what their preferences are, how they work, and how to take care of them is key to their success.  When mom's know there are many options, and that every mom and baby are different they are less likely to give up on the wonderful option of cloth when they come across a system they don't prefer.

Brookie-Lee's goal with Happybottomus is to provide products, education, and support for parents seeking a more natural way of parenting.  The main focus of Happybottomus is selling a large variety of cloth diapers.  The secondary goal is to provide parents with alternative products such as slings, soft-soled-shoes, natural toys, and natural feminine products.  Happybottomus is also a connection for the community, providing a network for natural parents, professionals, and businesses.  Happybottomus strives for a healthier, happier, and informed community.
