groceries convenient and affordable. Our service provides
convenient shopping while connecting our
community with the best local produce and groceries available.

As Fresh Connect KC grows and expands, this
page will help to explain the process of using our service.
This website will start very basic and will evolve in
convenience, options, and product availability. Your
ability to alter your order, specify preferences, and select
options is something we will continue to improve on a consistent
basis.
ORDERING
For the moment ordering is by e-mail.
Please let us know which produce bin you would like delivered
and how often. Payment is with cash or check and can be
paid by mail or left on your porch on the delivery day.
Payment must be received before or at delivery. We suggest
leaving a cooler on your front porch with the check inside.
That way we know where to look for the check and the cooler will
keep your produce fresh as the weather gets warmer.
Step 1) Signing up for Fresh Connect KC
Submit an e-mail with your name, contact
information, and delivery address. Specify which produce
bin you would like on your standing order, how often you would
like it delivered, and your method of payment.
Step 2) Your Membership Activation
Once your Registration and Standing Order are
complete, you will be notified of your activation and delivery
day. Please check with Customer Service if you have not received
a confirmation email within 7 business days.
Step 3) Adjusting Your Current Order
You can modify your produce bin and add
groceries to your order the week before your scheduled delivery
week. You can customize this Current Order until
Friday the week before. You will receive an email reminder every Monday
to tell you whether or not you are scheduled for delivery that
week.
Example: If you setup your account and get an
email confirmation that your first order will be the 30th then
you have until the 22nd to make any changes to your order.
An email will be sent Monday the 25th to let you know your
delivery is scheduled for Saturday the 30th. And you will
receive an email invoice on Friday the 29th(also a reminder to
set out your bin for pick up that night).

Step 4) Your Invoice
Your invoice will be emailed to you the day
before your scheduled delivery. This gives you the opportunity
to make sure your order is correct. It also serves as a reminder
to leave your empty bin and bags (from your previous delivery)
out for us to pickup.
Step 5) Your Delivery
Your order will be delivered between 7am and
9 pm on your scheduled day. You do not need to be home to
receive your order. Store your produce and groceries as soon as
possible, and put any insulated bags, brown paper bags, and ice
packs back into your bin for pickup. We cannot reuse plastic
produce bags due to health concerns; however, we encourage you
to recycle these #2 plastic bags. Don't forget to put your bin,
bags, etc. out for pickup on your next scheduled delivery day.
