How It Works-
Easy step-by-step breakdown of our delivery service.
Membership
There are no sign-up or membership fees for
our service. The only requirements for membership are a valid
credit or debit card and a Standing Order. Your Standing Order
is the produce bin of your choice and your delivery schedule.
You can choose a weekly, biweekly, or monthly delivery.
Setting Up Your Standing Order
Your Standing Order is the produce bin you
would like to receive and how often you want to receive delivery
(every week, every other week, or every month). You may add
groceries to your Standing Order, but it is not necessary. Some
members choose to put items like milk on their standing orders
because they know they will want to receive the item with every
delivery. During the sign up process you will be asked to
complete your standing order.

Suspending An Order
You can arrange to suspend a specific order
up to 4 weeks in advance by contacting customer service at
freshconnectkc@happybottomus.com . You must suspend your order
for the coming week by Wednesday at noon. For
temporary or permanent inactivation of your account, please see
Canceling Your Membership below.
Email Communication
Email is a fast,
convenient, and eco-friendly way to communicate with our
members.
The following emails will be sent to keep you
informed:

Reminder Email- sent on Monday to tell you
whether or not you are scheduled for delivery that week and
to remind you in case you need to order anything more.

Invoice Email- sent the day before your
delivery to remind you of your order

Confirmation of Order Changes- sent
whenever you make any changes to your Standing or Current
order
Our newsletter will be attached to your
reminder email. It includes important notifications to our
members, product and vendor information, nutrition and storage
tips, recipes, photos, weekly specials, community events, and
more.
Home & Business Delivery
You can specify where to place your bin in
your order email. We recommend that you have your bin delivered
to a spot that is out of direct sunlight and under cover. All
orders are delivered between 7am and 9 pm in a mid-sized plastic
bin. Produce will be packaged in brown paper bags, and
perishable grocery items will be packed in an insulated bag with
an ice pack. The bins, bags, and ice packs are reusable so make
sure you leave them out for your next delivery. We will pick up
your bin and bags when we bring your next order. This system is
environmentally friendly and keeps your produce happy!
There is a $15.00 charge for bins, $3.00
charge for insulated bags, and a $2.00 charge for ice packs that
are damaged or not returned.
$2 Business Discount - Fresh
Connect offers a convenient alternative to grocery shopping for
the busy professional. Let us know if you would like your order
delivered to your workplace. If there are five or more orders
for a business delivery in one week, those orders will receive a
$2 discount.
Delivery Schedule
You will be scheduled for delivery based upon
your address. We currently deliver on Saturday every week except
for weeks affected by major holidays. Delivery times are
from 7am until 9 pm.

allowed for pre-payment only.
Cancelling Your Membership
In order to temporarily or permanently
inactivate your account, you must contact customer service. You
can request reactivation by giving us a call or email. You can

our service. If there is any product that is missing or poor in
quality, we will replace it or credit your account. Your
