Title: Almost there!
We got the financing for the store! We close on the loan next week. Just clearing up a few things with the landlord this week. There's a possibility of the store not opening until the first of March but it's looking like that is the latest date. Yay! This is all so exciting! We got our large order of Moby Wraps and Happy Heiny's One Size diapers in that I ordered for the store. It's fun to see large orders. More large orders to come over the next few weeks. My family and I are thrilled!

Title: Waiting.....
It feels like life is always full of waiting. But I think part of that is because when you are waiting for something you have time to reflect. When you are busy doing something your mind is on the task at hand. Because truthfully waiting hasn't been all that has happened. So many different things have happened that have led to more and/or different waiting. All that to say that I'm waiting for a phone call on Monday to find out if we got approved for the larger loan amount. We're looking at getting occupancy in January. So depending on when we have the money to make our order will determine when we will have our grand opening. I am SO excited. We have some things to discuss with the landlord to get all that cleared up. I'm looking forward to putting products on the shelves and arranging the store. There will be a lot to do within a two month span. We also have to figure out what grand opening discounts we're going to do. I'd also love suggestions for product lines for the store. I'm only one person and the internet world have SO many that it gets overwhelming. I think our diversity of cloth diapers and baby carriers will please people. Natural skin care is an area where I feel we need more diversity. A lot of that is trial and error though. So suggestions are appreciated.

Title: Anxious
The end of October was pretty crazy for me. Not only did Fuzzi Bunz go on sale for an awesome discount but I also sold a bunch of toys at our local toy parties that I hosted. And of course Halloween with my boys and the two conferences within a week of each other. Things have calmed down a bit and I've continued to make orders and add to Happybottomus inventory. I have also been talking with a new bank trying to get financing for our brick and mortar store. I had hoped to be open before Christmas but there's a possibility that we will have to wait until January. It's not that far off but I had gotten my hopes up. So that was depressing news today. But I love what I do. I love being a mom and I love big projects. So being able to do both is a dream. Being able to help other moms learn about natural parenting and the many products that I offer isn't work, it's fun. I love doing it. So although I may have to wait a little longer for our brick and mortar store it will all be worth it in the end.
